2009 Shellharbour Anglican College Reader’s Challenge

The SAC Reader’s Challenge requires students to read 10 books in the period from March – 1st August, 2009. Of the ten books read, seven must be from the prepared booklists. Copies of booklists for the 4-8 years and 9-12 years age groups are available below.

All Junior School students at the College are encouraged to enter the SAC Readers’ Challenge. A Reading Record Form will be kept for each student in the library and added to as they read books during the Challenge period. Students will be directed to displays of Reader’s Challenge books in the library.

To enter the Challenge a Registration Form (copy below) needs to be returned with the $5.00 entry fee. This year we are using the funds raised from the $5.00 entry fees to buy books for Marysville Public School – destroyed in the recent Victorian bushfires. The Principal of this school has welcomed our planned donation for their school library as they look towards rebuilding the school this year.
