Get to know our experienced team of staff at the College! This week, meet Mr Matthew Low, Junior School Coordinator of Pastoral Care and Stage Three classroom teacher.
It could be argued that Mr Low is more famously known as ‘Wazza’, the star of the ‘Fitness with Wazza’ videos, a highlight for Junior School students during Remote Learning in 2020! However, more important is Mr Low’s excitement for his new role as Coordinator of Pastoral Care in the Junior School.
Mr Low says, “Every student matters at Shellharbour Anglican College, I look forward to helping students to be active and important members of our community and I look forward to helping equip and support staff as they work to make this happen for every child in their care”.
“In the classroom, I am looking forward to lots of great learning, meeting students’ needs and helping challenge and support them to build on their strengths and work on areas of learning that are a challenge for them”.
In his 16th year at the school, Mr Low is looking forward to welcoming many new families to Shellharbour Anglican College, a place that he describes in five words as a “caring, faithful community committed to learning”.
