Hi! My name is Christina Wong and I teach High School Visual Arts.
I started at Shellharbour Anglican alongside my husband Mr Tony Wong who teaches design. I’m excited to get to know students and have the joy of empowering students to create. I have been teaching for about 15 years! I started Scripture teaching in high schools at the age of 19 and started art teaching at 23.
We live in the northern Illawarra, and we love our church and community, the beaches, the cafes, the bike track- what a place to live! Outside of school I love singing, travelling, bushwalking and cooking.
Making art is just so much fun. I always feel inspired by seeing what students create. I love how music and art go together so I always have music playing in my classroom. It’s such a beautiful breather for students in their busy school day.
This year I am looking forward to getting to know students and going on Duke of Ed hikes!
