Our BYODD (Bring Your Own Designated Device) Program was introduced in 2014. This program aims to support classroom teaching strategies and enhance student learning in a contemporary educational setting. In addition, we aim to develop the ICT skills that will assist students in their future lives and careers.
The BYODD program includes the use of iPads for Year 7 through to 10. Due to the increased production demands in the senior years of schooling, Years 11 & 12 students may also choose to use a laptop.
Students have access to the College network and the internet for educational purposes. An ICT Service Desk provides support for all students with their devices and network problems.
Electronic copies of textbooks can be uploaded onto devices for some subjects. Students are required to purchase apps (applications) to be used in class for a variety of teaching and learning activities prior to commencing School.
Parents and students are required to read, sign and submit the College’s Information and Communication Technology and User Agreement Policies at the beginning of each year or at the start of the student’s enrolment.
The College provides student lockers to store their device in when they are not in use. Students are to provide their own combination lock.
