Sport

All students take part in weekly sport lessons. These include cooperative games and fitness activities for younger children and modified team sports for older primary students. Each year swimming, cross country and athletics carnivals are held. Friendly competition and keen participation are features of these events. Students have the opportunity to represent the College in a variety of team and individual sports.

The College is a member of SASSA (Southern Anglican Schools Sports Association) which holds selection carnivals and trials that allow talented sports boys and girls to progress through the Association of Independent Schools Combined Independent Schools Sports Association (CIS)  to State and National levels. Sport in the Junior School offers children the opportunity to be involved in active, physical and challenging programs. It is often the favourite part of the school week!

Facilities allow for both outdoor and indoor sports and are often used by external sports clubs. Our oval includes facilities for Rugby, football, cricket, discuss and shot put. Terraced grassed areas include tennis and basketball/netball facilities and complement the multipurpose hall which offers indoor basketball, netball and volleyball courts.
